Hubert Erwin Kidder, Jr., age 80 of St. Joe, Arkansas was called to his eternal home on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 after a brief stay at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas.
Hubert was born in Elkhart, Indiana and spent much of his growing up years around the Union, Michigan area.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert E. Kidder, Sr. and Leona (Ulrey) Kidder both of Elkhart, Indiana; his sister, Hazel Kidder; and a brother, Howard Kidder.
He is survived by his wife, Sharel of the home; two daughters, Sherri King and husband John King of Everton and Sandra Kidder of Sherman, Texas; six sons, Chuck Myers and wife Linda of Wakarusa, Indiana, Mike Kline of Elkhart, Indiana, Kevin Kidder and wife Angie of Winchester, Kentucky, Steve Kidder and wife Tammy of St. Joe, Sheldon Kidder and wife Melea of Pyatt, and Mark Kidder and wife Julie of Harrison. He had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Since moving to Arkansas in 1977, Hubert has pastored three Churches and filled in at several Churches. He was Associate Pastor at Grace Christian Center for 10 years.
Visitation 6-8 P.M. Friday, July 1, 2011 at Grace Christian Center.
Service 10 A.M. Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Grace Christian Center with Tim Phillips officiating.
Burial will follow in Crawford Cemetery with pallbearers being Chuck Myers, Kevin Kidder, Steve Kidder, Sheldon Kidder, Tyler Kidder, Mark Kidder, John King, Daryl King, and Dillon Kidder.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Tom Leslie, Dr. Blake Chitsey, John Henley, Carl Evans, Allen Merrill, and Joe Moore.
