Henry Clayton Payne, 84 of Pelsor, AR, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, in Branson, Missouri.

The son of Clyde and Thelma (Plumbley) Payne was born October 4, 1937, in Capps, Arkansas.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents; 2 daughters, Debbie Coltrain and Terry Fuhr; and his sister and brothers.

Henry attended Bakers Creek Church, Freewill Baptist Church and Lurton Assembly of God Church.  He enjoyed art and woodburning, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Rachel (Freeman) Payne of the home; his sons, Ronnie Payne and Carl Payne of Kansas, Ricky Ford of Harrison, AR, Joe Ford of Russellville, AR, and Donald Ford of Pottsville, AR; his daughter, Sarah Ford Risley of Harrison; his brother, Randy Payne of Goodland, KS; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, AR. With Pastor Tim Via and Pastor Stan Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery in Pelsor, AR.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM Thursday prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
