Obituary
Helen L. Thomas, 74 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at home.
The daughter of Charles and Ferne (Stucke) Cochran was born January 27, 1942 in the May community in Missouri. She remained in the Joplin and Carterville area until moving to Harrison to be with her daughter and family.
Helen was always thinking of others, especially her family. She had a tender spot for animals, loving them as members of the family. She always ended conversations saying "I love you", having a heart full of love and peace that she wanted to share with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Terry Thomas.
Helen is survived by her husband of 54 years, A.B. Thomas, Jr., of the home; her daughter, Tonya Barnett and husband Cliff of Harrison, AR; her sisters, Barbara Stone, Faith Webb, Charlene O'Dell and Lela Jewell; her grandchildren, Jesse Thomas, Tessa Daniels and husband Tyler, Steven Souers and Claty Barnett.
Graveside memorial services will be held at Maplewood Cemetery on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Brother John Eslinger officiating.
