Obituary
Hazel M. Taylor, age 99 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Apple Ridge Nursing Home in Harrison.
The daughter of Emmett and Bessie (McDougal) Martin was born May 24, 1915 in Jasper, Arkansas.
Hazel was raised in this area but left Arkansas in 1957. She moved back to the area in 1996 from Hanford, California. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Taylor; daughters, Billie Sue Swafford, and June Cassidy; brother, Hugh Martin; and sisters, Lorraine Saling, Helen Gooch, Lee Harris, and Rue Taylor.
She is survived her son, Jerry Taylor and wife Cora of Lead Hill, Arkansas; daughters, Joyce Moore of Independence, Missouri, Kim Dias and husband Lionel of Hanford, California, Debbie Welch and husband Kerry of Visalia, California, and Patty Collier and husband Jim of Indianapolis, Indiana; sisters, Elsie Trueblood of Western Grove, Arkansas, Mary Jo Slay of Marshall, Arkansas, and Betty Gibson of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday, July 18, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home.
Graveside service were Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Anderson Flat Cemetery with Bro. Darvin Rainbolt officiating.
Pallbearers were Hazel's son, her sons-in-law, and her grandchildren.
