Obituary
Hazel Green, age 87 of Harrison, AR, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Golden Living Hilltop Nursing Center, in Harrison.
The daughter of Jim and Laura Henderson was born March 31, 1920 at Hasty, AR.
Hazel grew up in Hasty and had been a resident of Harrison most of her life. She enjoyed gardening and canning, and for many years made custom draperies out of her home, after retiring from Levi Strauss. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with her husband, Ottis Green, and all of her siblings.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Andy Miller, of Sherwood, AR and Barbara and James Leachman, of Harrison; two grandsons, Harlan Miller, of Harrison and Edwin Miller, of Fort Mill, S.C.; and four great grandsons, Brady, Caleb, Luke, and Josh Miller.
Service was Friday, February 1, 2008 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Rev. Billy Rogers officiating. Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Harlan Miller, Edwin Miller, L.D. Friend, Allen Kelly, Kenny McKinney, and Leo Dye.
