Hazel Marie Eddings, age 88 of Harrison, Arkansas departed from this life on Monday, October 12, 2020 while residing at Somerset senior Living in Harrison.
Hazel was the daughter of Cletus and Ada Martin, both deceased, and was born on August 15, 1932 at Anderson, Missouri. She had one brother, Ermon Martin, who preceded her in death. She also has one living sister-in-law, Ruby Eddings Hopper and husband Alfred of Hollister, Missouri.
Hazel was a long time member of Union Road Assembly of God Church, faithfully attending until health issues forced her to remain at home. She later resided with her daughter and son-in-law until eventually moving to Somerset Senior Living in Harrison.
Hazel was married to George Eddings, deceased, for 59 years and had two children, Terry Eddings and wife Kathy, both deceased and Debra Louise Barron and husband John.
Hazel is survived by her daughter Debra and husband John; seven grandchildren, Anthony Swartz, Nathan Swartz and wife Erica, Bradley Barron and wife Melissa, Sheri Rainey Barron and Casey Eddings. She was preceded in death by grandsons Aaron Swartz and Todd Swartz.
Hazel is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Hazel loved to sing and was known to jitterbug through the house on occasions!
She loved to laugh and especially loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services for Hazel will be held Friday, October 16, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Arvin Adams and John Barron officiating. A visitation will be held immediately before the service starting at 10:00 am. Burial will follow the service at Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Anthony Swartz, Nathan Swartz, Sheri Barron, Katherine Rowe, Dallas Rowe and John Barron.
