Obituary

Harold Michael Jones, Jr., age 82 of Harrison, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Harrison.

The son of Harold Michael Jones and Georgia Pelkey Jones was born November 7, 1933 at Millinocket, Maine.

Harold was a Veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean War. He was proud of his service and loved to tell stories about his time in the military. He had been a member of the American Legion.

Harold loved the Lord and his family. He married Jo Ann (Farmer) Jones on August 27, 1991. He spent many hours assembling model ships and loved John Wayne movies. He was a hard worker and drove an 18-wheeler for years and worked several years as a security guard. He loved his dogs, Cassie and Angel and the cat, Smokey, they were all his babies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters and a daughter, Angie Cone.

Harold is survived by his wife Jo Ann Jones of the home; six children, daughters, Toni Sanchez (Jessie) of Las Cruces, NM; Maggie Criner of Harrison; sons, Virl Bruce (Mary) of Fayetteville, AR; Earl Bruce (Tammy) of Omaha; Billy Bruce (Mendy) of Pyatt and Brian Bruce (Pam) of Garland, TX; his son-in-law, Howard Cone of Harrison and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

Services will be held Saturday February 13, 2016 at 2pm at Coffman Chapel in Harrison with Rev. Arlis Thrasher officiating.

Pallbearers are Tim Block, Ronnie Cone, Weston and Dustin Moore, Billy Bruce and Austin and Cody Cowan.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
