Obituary
Harlyn Ocie Crowe of Everton, Arkansas passed from this life on March 30, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 68.
The son of Ocie Levi and Vyrena (Johnson) Crowe was born on December 6, 1948 in Tylertown Mississippi.
After working with Exxon for 36 years Harlyn and wife Mary retired to Valley Springs, Arkansas and absolutely loved it. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drinking coffee. Harlyn was a very active member of First Baptist Church Valley Springs. He was also part of the Solid Rock Foundation. Harlyn was a member of the Arkansas Baptist Association Disaster Relief Team, and also served on the Arkansas Baptist Association Mission Board.
Harlyn was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Amie Crowe and brother-in-law Raymond Gaines.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Crowe of Everton; 3 sons, Jon Crowe, Keith Crowe and Calvin (Courtney) Crowe; 2 Sisters, Robbie (Hugh) Lindsey and Bobbie Jean Gaines; grandchildren, Luke, Daniel, Anna, Abbi, Jacob, Jonathan, Joshua, Levi and Sarah who is on the way and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services will be 3 P.M. Sunday, April 2, 2017 at First Baptist Church Valley Springs with Pastor Michael Grubbs officiating.
In lieu of flowers family has requested donations be made to the Arkansas Baptist Boys Ranch or to the First Baptist Church Valley Springs food pantry.
