Harland Allan Sims, 84 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.

The son of Tillman Allan Sims and Jessie LaRue Deakins Sims was born at Compton, Arkansas on October 15, 1934.  He had lived in Arkansas most of his life and was a member of Hilltop Church of Christ.

Harland was a US Air Force and Air Force Reserve veteran.  He had worked at Boeing Aircraft as an electrician for over 30 years.  He was also a car enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Rhonda Sims and a grandson, Christopher Sims.

Harland is survived by his sons, Harland Sims, Jr., Brad Sims, Kelly Sims; his daughter, Kimberly Cash; his brothers, Louis Sims, Jacob Sims and Lester Sims; his sisters, Katheryn Ervin and Priscilla Pace; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Hilltop Cemetery, with John Deakins officiating.  Pallbearers are family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hilltop Church of Christ.
