Guy Vernon Wickersham, Sr., age 75 of Lead Hill, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at home.
The son of George Vernon Wickersham and Leona (Stills) Wickersham was born September 2, 1937 in Yellville, Arkansas.
He was the original founder, owner and operator of Guy's Sign
Company and served in the U.S. Army.
Guy enjoyed fishing, tinkering with engines and vehicles, painting and artwork. He was a member of the Harrison Elks Lodge and had served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George V. and Leona (Stills) Wickersham; daughters, Cathy Wickersham, and Denise Wickersham-Kindrick, and one brother, Jack Wickersham.
He is survived by his son, Guy Wickersham Jr. and his wife Lynn of Harrison; one brother, David Wickersham; two sisters, Joyce Wickersham and Betty Sue Wickersham; four grandchildren, Kimberly, Jessica, Terry, Sarah; and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his former wife, Rose Wickersham.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home.
Private memorial graveside service will be at Wickersham Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas.
