Obituary
Guy Stanley Blackwell, 76, of Burbank, California passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016, on a trip through Jasper, Arkansas.
He was the son of the late Roy and Pearl(Carpenter) Blackwell and was born in Witts Springs, Arkansas on September 30, 1939.
Guy retired from the Retail Clerks Association where he worked in the grocery store business.
A loving father, who since retirement, enjoyed driving across the country, with his faithful dog Pancake, visiting his family and most of all his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter Laura Lewis of Addy, Washington; sons, Gregory Blackwell of Fort Worth, Texas and Guy Blackwell, Jr. of Santa Clarita, California; grandchildren, Christian Blackwell, Joshua Blackwell, Benjamin Blackwell and step grandchildren, Isaiah, Aliyah, and Sophia Rossil; and his brother Roger Blackwell of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sissy and brothers Rex and Ronald Blackwell.
Memorials in his memory can be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
