Obituary
Grace J. Daugherty, age 91 of Lead Hill, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of David and Lucy (Bowers) Rowe, she was born July 6, 1917 in Solsberry, Indiana.
Grace had lived in this area for 20 years, moving from Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with her husband, Mearl Daugherty; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors are her daughters, Sue Kunkle of Tempe, Arizona, Kathy Moore of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Karen Daugherty of St. Louis, Missouri; son, William Daugherty; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation for Grace was Friday, August 22, 2008 with services following at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery at Omaha, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Doug Moore, Shawn Moore, David Daugherty, Bobby Garrett, and Cameron Moore. Honorary pallbearer was Charles Denney.
Memorial donations may be made to Lead Hill Fire Department and First Responders or to the American Lung Association, 211 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205-9869.
