Obituary
Gordon Myers, age 92 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The son of Bert and Mayme (Gordon) Myers, he was born December 12, 1915 in Rutledge, Missouri.
His parents preceded him in death, along with a son, Jack Myers, and three brothers.
Gordon had lived in this area for several years, moving from Illinois. He attended the Assembly of God Church and enjoyed golfing and yard work.
Survivors are his wife, Idola (Allred) Myers of the home; daughters, Sandy Huysers of California and Linda Wells of Illinois; step-children, Danny Woodworth, Ronnie Woodworth, and Joretta Bailey, all of Alpena and Melissa Cunningham of Harrison. He is also survived by a sister, Joann Drake of Memphis, TN and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren.
There was a memorial service for Gordon, Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Coffman Chapel in Harrison with Bro. Scott Bailey officiating.
Cremation and arrangmements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made in Gordon's name to the First Assembly of God Church, 1329 W. Stephenson, Harrison, Arkansas 72601.
