Obituary
Goldie Ragian Megee, age 87 of Harrison, AR, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at her home.
The daughter of Baxter and Minnie R. (Morris) Jenkins, was born November 8, 1920 in Alpena, AR.
She had been a lifelong resident of this area, where she attended Hopewell Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with her husband, Willie Megee; an infant daughter, Debbie June Megee; two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors are her children, Bill Megee, of Elkins, AR, Robert Megee, of Plano, TX, and Tom Megee, Sue Megee, and Dee Wilkinson, all of Harrison. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held Sunday, April 27th, 2008 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Graveside service was Monday, April 28th, 2008 at Hopewell Cemetery. Sam Duhnam officiated. Pallbearers were Carl Bell, Coy Gregory, Bill Webb, Craig Jones, Jerry Rogers, and Kelly Mulford. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons, great grandsons, Von Gregory, Dino Avellanosa, and the staff of Boone County Home Health Unit.
