Glennis F. Eddings, age 72 of Hasty, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at her home.

The daughter of Virgil and Evon (Holt) Flud was born July 13, 1941 at Vendor, Arkansas.

Glennis worked at White-Rodgers (Emerson) Electric for 26 years and was a CNA at Newton County Nursing Home for six years before becoming a homemaker.

She loved her family dearly and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. She was a very caring and generous person, always giving to others. She also enjoyed watching T.V. Evangelists and worshiping the Lord. She also enjoyed getting on Facebook.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Flud; sister, Laverne Flud; and brother-in-law, J.W. Farmer.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Arlis Eddings of the home; son, Michael Eddings and wife Kim of Hasty; sisters, Ruth Raulston and husband Charles, Glenda Farmer of Vendor and Colene Brown of Vendor; three grandchildren, Hailey, Zach and Jacob Eddings; step-daughters, Kim Stephens and husband Danny of Hasty and Kelly VanCuren and husband Randy of Harrison; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was Friday, February 7, 2014 with the service Saturday, February 8, 2014, both at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Steven Holt officiated.

Burial followed in Carver Cemetery at Hasty with pallbearers being Bobby Raulston, Billy Raulston, David Farmer, Kevin Cook, Clayton Swafford, and Alan Eddings.

Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren.
