Obituary

Glen Garner, 69 of Hasty, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at home surrounded by his family and loved ones.

He was born December 22, 1948 at Hasty to Albert and Doylene (Bolin) Garner.  He was a lifelong resident of Hasty and graduated from Western Grove School.

He was the husband to Lavern Garner and they shared 50 years together and many wonderful memories.  He retired from Ritter Communications in 2011 after working 42 years as a lineman.  Glen enjoyed reading and camping.  He was a wonderful husband and loving father, and he loved being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Larry Dale Garner.

Glen is survived by his wife, Lavern Garner of the home, two children, Randy Garner and wife Debbie and Kathie Campbell and husband Doug, all of Hasty; his grandchildren, Makayla Campbell, Travis Garner and wife Sonya, Dustin Garner and wife Natasha, Dalton Campbell, Coty Campbell, Mason White and Cody White; seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Hasty Holiness Church with Steven Holt officiating.  Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Hasty Holiness Church.

Pallbearers are Randy Garner, Travis Garner, Dustin Garner, Allan Dixon, Cody White, Doug Campbell and Dalton Campbell.  Honorary pallbearers are Coty Campbell, Mason White and the Legacy Hospice Staff.
