Gladys Inez Neighbors, age 92 of Harrison, Arkansas formerly of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Bristol Pointe Health & Rehab in Harrison.

The daughter of Simon and Bonnie (Smith) Ricketts was born November 3, 1920 at Red Rock, Arkansas.

She was a longtime member of Jasper Church of Christ. She served the Newton County community as a tax preparer for 30 years and she and her husband, Orval were former owners of the Ozark Cafe in Jasper. Orval and she were married in 1945, until his death in 1983.

Gladys enjoyed gardening and especially enjoyed being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orval Neighbors; a son, Gary Neighbors; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Darrell Jones of Harrison, Arkansas; sister, Sue Mock of Jasper, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Jeremy "Scooter" Neighbors, Sheryl Jones-Iveson and husband Alan, Teresa Jones and husband Brent, Steven Jones and wife Tracy, and Cameron Jones and fiance' Leah Harris; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Service was Monday, February 18, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper.

Burial followed in Jasper Cemetery with pallbearers being Cameron Jones, Steven Jones, Jeremy Neighbors, Brent Jones, Jakob Jones, and Hunter Arthur.

Honorary pallbearers were Bannon Jones and Jayce Jones.
