Obituary

Ginger (Carson) Walsh, age 70 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The daughter of Joe and Oleta Carson was born February 19, 1946 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Ginger was a member of Capps Road Church of Christ, where she was a beloved Christian and friend to all. She had been employed at Harrison High School and Mass Merchandiser's before retiring as a homemaker, wife and mother.

She attended Rogers High School and graduated in 1965. She enjoyed sports, supporting both the Harrison Goblins and NAC Pioneers. She married Bud Walsh in Rogers, Arkansas on August 4, 1966 and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.

Ginger is survived by her husband, Bud Walsh of the home, her daughter, Amy Little and husband Aaron of Nixa, MO; her grandson, Hudson Thomas Little; 2 sisters, Maralyne Grigg and husband Bill of Rogers, AR and Peggy Scott of Oklahoma City, OK; 2 brothers-in-law, Gerald Walsh and wife Sandra, Bill Walsh and wife Kathy; sister-in-law, Dorice Shores and husband Eddy and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Coffman Chapel in Harrison with Norman Sewell officiating. Visitation on hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM. Private interment will be at a later date in Rogers, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Hills in Harrison, Arkansas or the future Ronald McDonald House-Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
