Georgia Ann Moore, age 80 of Bruno-Pyatt, Arkansas, passed away December 24, 2021 at her home.

The daughter of Master Sergeant Harold C. and Lula (Cosper) Knowles was born in Jarrell, Texas on July 1, 1941.

Georgia married Jesse Charles Moore on January 11, 1957 at Grace Temple Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.  They had four children; Deborah Ann Owens and husband Lamar, Katherine Elizabeth Devlin and husband Miles, Lauren Elaine Sunday and Joshua Charles Moore and wife Michelle. She had six grandchildren; Travis Owens and wife Jenny, Tyler Owens, Hunter Sunday, Robert Devlin, Gavin Moore and Sydney Moore.

Georgia was a member of Pyatt Baptist Church.  She was a pre-school teacher and  on the kitchen and flower committees at her church.  She loved people, reading, cooking and needlework.  She belonged to Calico Rock Walter Moore Eastern Star Lodge.  She accepted Christ as her Savior at 8 years old and was baptized in the fellowship of Christ.  Her mantra was God is in control.  Her favorite scripture was John 11 : 25-26.

Services will be held Tuesday December 28, 2021 at 11:00 am at Pyatt Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Vance officiating.  Visitation will be held before the service at 9:30 to 11:00 am at the church.  Burial will follow the service at Patton Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Travis Owens, Tyler Owens, Hunter Sunday, Robert Devlin, Gavin Moore, Sydney Moore, Troy Rook and Brett Davenport.  Honorary pallbearer is Paul Davenport.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes any donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
