Obituary

Georgia A. Hoffman, age 67 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away August 11, 2009 at Harrison Nursing Center in Harrison.

The daughter of Clyde and Willa (Cook) Cole, she was born March 27, 1942 at Keosauqua, Iowa.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Dale Cole, James Cole, and Benjamin Cole; and one sister, Lucy Cole.

She worked many jobs in her life although the job she enjoyed the most was being a mother. She was always there whenever anyone needed her and would never turn anyone away.

Her last job was making things to enter in the fair held in Harrison. We feel she is a a "Blue Ribbon Queen". Her entries were in the newspaper two years in a row for crochet blankets, decor, hot pads, place mats, even wash rags! On October 10, 2007 she was the winner of three Blue ribbons. On October 24, 2008 she collected six Blue ribbons (these dates were in the Harrison Daily Times).

She is survived by two sons, Larry Huffman, age 50, (whereabouts unknown)and Mike Wadsager, age 40,of Harrison, Arkansas; a daughter, Susan Tauber, age 45, and her husband, Mark Tauber also of Harrison, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Crystal Griffith, age 17 and Christopher Lee Wadsager, age 14; three sisters, Vera Link, Minnie Thomas, and Joan Lunsford; four brothers, Freddie Cole, Cecil Cole, Johnny Cole, and Sandy Cole; and countless nephews, nieces, and cousins.
