Georgia Angeline Henson, of Mt. Judea, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 11, 2025 in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Evelyn Howard (Ervin Standridge) and George Hudspeth was born on February 14, 1941 in Ben Hur, Arkansas.
Georgia was a devoted member of Bethlehem Pentecostal Church and found joy in visiting many churches throughout the area, embracing fellowship and spreading kindness wherever she went. She spent many years as a homemaker and caregiver, always placing the needs of others before her own with quiet strength and unwavering love.
A passionate lover of nature, Georgia found happiness in flowers, plants, and the simple beauty of the world around her. She enjoyed collecting unique treasures, each one a reflection of the joy she found in life's small wonders.
Above all, Georgia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a true example of a Godly woman, known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and the deep love she shared with everyone she met. Her faith was her foundation, and her light touched the lives of many.
Georgia's presence was a blessing, and her memory will be cherished forever by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, and love that will continue to shine in the hearts of those she touched.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Roy Henson; her parents; two brothers, Paul and Junior Standridge; and two sisters, Shirley Freeman and Ruth Hudspeth.
Survivors include two daughters, Joan (Bill) Nichols and Kerry (David) Barber; one son, Glen Henson; grandchildren, Angela (Baxton) Mathis, Ashley (Matt) Massengale, Josh Bolin, Derek Henson, Nicholas (Maricel) Campbell, Mariah (Brent) Raulston, Charm (Wade) Keef, Christian (Tommy) Crews, Andrew Campbell, and Jacob Henson; 16 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Riley and Carolyn Humphrey; three brothers, James (Pete) Hudspeth, Lindon Standridge, and David Standridge; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation is Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
Funeral service will be Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Brother Anthony Bower will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Carver Cemetery. Pallbearers are Joshua Bolin, Matt Massengale, Baxton Mathis, Cortland Mathis, Grady Massengale, and Brent Raulston. Honorary pallbearers include Terry Henson, Larry Henson, Andrew Campbell, and David Barber.
