Georgia Hensley, age 79 of Snow, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Somerset Senior Living in Yellville.

The daughter of Loyd "Bill" Holt and Myrtle (Moore) Holt was born in Zinc, Arkansas on April  17, 1942.

Georgia loved her chickens and her flowers, especially the dogwood tree in her front yard.  Most of all, she loved her kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Oliver "J.O." Hensley; a son, Benton Junior Hensley, a daughter, Myrtie Lou Hensley; a brother, Loyd Ray Holt, two sisters, Shirley Holt and Velva Thomason.

Georgia is survived by her sons, James (Jennifer) Hensley, Billy (Brenda) Hensley, Sr., and Jack (Alma) Hensley; two daughters, Lizbeth Hensley and Gail (Greg) Coney; two brothers, Leonard Jay Holt and Glen Holt; four sisters, Lilly Dodd, Violet Mitchell, Marie Welchel and Ivon McKinney; eight grandchildren and seven great grand children.

Graveside memorial service will be at 2 PM, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Davidson Cemetery.

Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
