Obituary
George Britton Hollingsworth, Jr., of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 61.
The son of George Hollingsworth, Sr., and Chizuko (Takekoshi) Hollingsworth was born July 7, 1954 at Waltham, Massachussetts.
George has been a resident of this area for over 20 years and was employed by Acxiom in Conway, Arkansas. He enjoyed spending time working outdoors. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
George is survived by his wife, Lee Hollingsworth of Harrison, Arkansas; his son, Kristopher Hollingsworth of Newark, Deleware; his daughter, Rebecca Hollingsworth of Denver, Colorado; his brother, Mike Hollingsworth and his sister, Judy Hollingsworth, both of Tucson, Arizona.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date and interment will be at Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Myelodysplastic Syndrome Foundation at www.mds-foundation.org.
