General Hudson, age 88 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Hillcrest Home in Harrison, Arkansas.

The son of Landis and Nora (Asher) Hudson was born October 16, 1923 at Mt. Judea, Arkansas.

He was a member of Batavia Assembly of God Church and attended River of Life Assembly of God Church.

He enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Landis and Susie Hudson and his mother Nora Hudson; his wife, Jessie Lee (Smith) Hudson; brothers, Azell
Hudson and infant brother, Eugene Hudson; and sisters, Opal Shatswell and Mildred Cogburn and infant sister, Eve Hudson.

Survivors are sons, Danny Hudson and wife Angie and Dale Hudson and wife Billie all of Harrison; daughter, Reba Simkins and husband Keith of Alpena, Arkansas; brothers, Roy Hudson of Salina, Tennessee and Troy Hudson of Columbus, Kansas; sister, Charlene Jones of Norman, Arkansas; grandchildren, Rebekah Lethers, Kevin Hudson, David Hudson, Christy Perrin, Kyle Simkins, Joe Hudson, and Skyler Simkins; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Service was Monday, August 27, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating.

Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery with pallbearers being Kyle Simkins, Skyler Simkins, Kevin Hudson, Clayton Harris, Eldon Hudson, and Dennis Selvidge.

Honorary pallbearers were David Hudson, Joe Hudson, and the staff of Hillcrest Home.
