Gene Henderson, of St. Joe, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Monday, October 25, 2021. He was 92 years old.

The son of Barry and Noma (Parks) Henderson was born on March 18, 1929 in St. Joe, Arkansas.

Gene was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army. He attended church at Buffalo River Baptist Church and was the owner/operator of Henderson's Backhoe Service. Gene was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Free Masons, specifically, Lodge # 317 in St. Joe. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Henderson; his parents; one brother, Lloyd Henderson; and one sister, Wilma Watts.

Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Shelia and Robert Cellars, of Conway, AR; one nephew, Bill Watts, of Harrison, AR; sister-in-law, Mildred Spendlove, of Reno, NV; brothers-in-law, Mike High, of Sparks, NV and Danny High and wife, Betty Jo, of Hayward, CA; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, October 29, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Funeral service is Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Buffalo River Baptist Church, in St. Joe, AR, at 2:00 PM. Pastor Terry Knapp will officiate. Burial will be in Love Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
