Gaylene (Edgmon) Holt, age 55 of Mossville, Arkansas passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Mossville.
The daughter of John Edward "J.E." and Goldie Mae (Dyer) Edgmon was born on July 30, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas.
She had lived most of her life in Newton and Madison Counties. Gaylene enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, planting flowers, building rock walls or anything outside.
Gaylene was saved and baptized in August 2013 and she was a member of the Mossville United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.E. Edgmon; one brother, Kevin Edgmon; an infant sister, Judy Kay Edgmon and an infant niece, Jessica Hampton.
Survivors are her mother, Goldie (Dyer) Edgmon of Low Gap; a son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Abby Cline of Pettigrew; daughters, January Carpenter and Amanda Hartness both of Marble; brothers, David Edgmon and Marty Edgmon both of Mossville and Kendall Edgmon of Low Gap; sisters, Virdia Hampton and Michele Fierro both of Low Gap and Vicki Nelson of Springdale; seven grandchildren, Faith Guidry, Chevelle Carpenter, Bailey Carpenter, Payton Hartness, Lyla Hartness, Jordyn Cline and Haley Cline and many other family and friends.
Funeral service was Monday, September 8, 2014 at Mossville United Baptist Church with Bobby Young officiating. Burial followed in Mossville Cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers were men of the Mossville United Baptist Church.
Honorary pallbearers were Kathy Tackett, Brandon and Jerry Hampton, Jon David Nelson, Douglas Edgmon and Kylan Fierro.
