Gary Roscoe Pierce, Jr., of Yellville, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.  He was 55 years old.

The son of Gary Roscoe Pierce, Sr. and Linda Lee (Barnett) Pierce Roper was born on August 18, 1970 in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Gary loved fishing and spending time with his many friends.  He had a big heart and was always willing to help those in need.  His warm and comforting nature will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jody Rogers.

Survivors include three sisters, Jackie (Jeff) Camp, Louetta Merrill, and T.J. Carter; one aunt, June Williams; nephews, Will Camp and Frankie Merrill; niece, Linda June Cook; special friends, Izak Carter, Jimmy and Glenda, Cody Evans, Cody Davidson, Eddie O'Mara, Candace and Josh Cross, Arnold Ply, and Zach and Amanda Rogers; his special dog, Sissy; and a host of other family and friends.

The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Chelsea and the Nursing Staff at Hospice of the Hills.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
