Gary Wayne Daniel, of Harrison, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Florida. He was 70 years old.

The son of Hulen and Edna Alline (McDaniel) Daniel was born on July 18, 1951 in Snowball, Arkansas.

Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Viet Nam War. He was the Shipping Manager at Claridge Products before retiring after 43 years. Gary was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting quail, duck, pheasant, turkey and deer. However, his true passion was fishing. Gary was a member of many fishing associations including OMTT, ESPN, Central Pro Am, and Bass Masters and many other associations and local clubs. Gary's many years of fishing allowed him to positively impact many young and aspiring fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Gloria Dianne Coombe.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Pansy Daniel; one son, Gary Lloyd Daniel; three stepsons, Mark Humphrey, Stan (Nikki) Darnell, and Chad (Lindsey) Darnell; seven grandchildren, Katie, Austin, Taelyn, Gavin, Gabriella, Gianna, and Jeremy; two great grandchildren, Liberty and Maddie; two brothers, Arlin (Jeanie) Daniel and Joe (Jacquie) Daniel; one niece; one nephew; and a host of treasured friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.

Funeral service is Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Pastor Dennis Sisco will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Gary Lloyd Daniel, Austin Daniel, Mark Humphrey, Stan Darnell, Chad Darnell, and Erik Daniel. Honorary pallbearers include Mark Billings, Philip Milam, Jim Martin and Quention Dodson.
