Garry L. Wilson, age 75, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.

The son of Rupert "Dick" Wilson and Oneta (McFerrin) Wilson was born January 6, 1949 in Harrison, Arkansas.

Garry was a 1967 graduate of Harrison High School. Soon after high school, he began working at M&M Concrete and Movers, driving mixer trucks and moving vans for over 20 years. He then worked for Boone County Road Department for 16 years in the tire shop and sign department until his retirement in 2010.

He enjoyed mowing the yard and doing odd jobs around the house. Garry loved working and tinkering on his 1979 Ford Pickup. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching Arkansas Razorback Football, Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals.

Garry was a sweet, loving man and a hard worker. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dwayne Wilson, and an infant grandson.

Garry is survived by his wife of 32 years, Shirley Wilson; his three children, Dennis Wilson (Jenny), Donna Pommell (Josh), and Garry Wilson, Jr. (Alliana); a brother, Gail Wilson (Diane); five grandchildren, Autumn, Hayden, Kaitlyn, Candace, and Jonathan; one great granddaughter, Raya; brother-in-law, Tom Wainright; sister-in-law, Dorothy Ritchey; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, December 6 (2024) at Crawford Cemetery with Pastor Bob Worden officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 5 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Pallbearers are Tom Wainright, Mike Davis, Johnathan Melbourn, Jerry Brock, Ronnie Carpenter, and Tim Fletcher.

Honorary pallbearers are NARMC ER Nurses and Staff, ER Nurse Sandy, Dr. Christopher Gilbert, and Dr. Charlie Rasmussen.
