IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frederick Fillmore
Fennell Jr.
February 2, 1957 – August 3, 2024
Frederick Fennell Jr., age 67, of Jasper, AR passed away peacefully at his home on August 3, 2024, with his family by his side. His parents, the Honorable Judge Fennell Sr and Lois (Duffy) Fennell of Jasper preceded him in death. Fred was born in Rockwood, TN on February 2, 1957, and was an only child. He is survived by his children, Fredrick Fennell III and Nina Parker, Lahanna Fennell, and Chace Fennell, all of Jasper; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Kylan, Forrest, Tiana, Rebeka, JC, Chace, and Linda; and five great-grandchildren, with another on the way.
His passions were playing the guitar, woodworking, and all things outdoors. He was an all-around nature enthusiast, enjoying many seasons of canoeing, fishing, hiking, and swimming the Buffalo Rivers of our surrounding beautiful area. He instilled this same love in his children and grandchildren. He was an expert Artisan, and all things built were a display of unique character and strength. In his early years, he learned to play the guitar while listening to the music being played at the same time. Much joy came from playing music while singing for his family and friends, as well as the many visiting tourists of Kyles Landing and Steel Creek. Truly, he sang and played with the most beautiful harmony and voice most have ever heard. Amongst his passions, he enjoyed time spent tending to his raised flower beds on his deck and maintaining his yard and wooded property.
There are many words that could be shared about the essence of his character, morals, and intellectual qualities, but simply put, he will be remembered as the best dad, friend, and warrior against his cancer. He will forever be missed by many.
According to his final wishes, there will not be a service at this time. Rather, we will honor his memory and whole life at his home closer to next spring. The date and time will be announced later. Given his passions, flowers are welcomed as well, and online condolences may be left at www.coffmanfh.com
Lastly, he hoped that all would plant a garden over a tree so that they may enjoy it through all the seasons year after year.
