Obituary
Freddie George Coonts, age 81 of Ed Dorado Springs, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at his home.
The son of Johnny Coonts and Gertie (Gilmore) Harp was born March 30, 1930 in Kansas City, Kansas.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a U.S. Army veteran. He had lived in El Dorado Springs, Missouri for the last nine years.
Freddie's parents preceded him in death along with his wife, Patsy R. (Haynes) Coonts; a son, Johnny Errol Coonts; a brother, Guy Franklin Coonts; and a sister, Wilda Carver.
Survivors are his sons, Garry Coonts of Independence, Missouri and Jerry Coonts of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Tarlton Cemetery in Lurton, Arkansas.
