Obituary
Freda Mae Murray, age 92 of Parthenon, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper, Arkansas.
The daughter of Charlie and Mary Vaughn was born August 22, 1922 at Wayton, Arkansas.
She had been a lifelong resident of Newton County and worked for many years at Newton County Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude Murray; a daughter, Verla Curtwright; a son, Doyle Murray; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors are her children, Leta Willis of Gravette, Carl Murray and wife Ada of Gravette, Charlene Dixon and husband Bill of Rogers, Dwight Murray and wife Diane of Harrison, and Marsha Boone and husband Eddie of Bergman; brother, R.C. Vaughn of Rogers; sisters, Lucille Ball of Rogers and Onzalee Carlton of Wayton; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home.
Freda will be laid to rest next to her husband, Claude at Snow Cemetery in Wayton.
There is no service planned at this time.
