Obituary
Freda Dorthula Spears, age 82 of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Windcrest Nursing & Rehab in Springdale.
The daughter of George and Mary (Rich) Eddings was born July 1, 1929 in Hasty, Arkansas.
She was an ordained Assembly of God Minister. She and her husband pastored the First Assembly of God Church in Clarendon, Arkansas for 16 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William D. "Bill" Spears; two infant sons, J.R. and Gary Spears; a sister, Willia Roberts; and a brother, George Eddings, Jr.
Survivors are her sister, Ruby Hopper of Hollister, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Hazel Eddings of Harrison, Arkansas; a nephew, Terry Eddings of Harrison, Arkansas; two nieces, Debra Barron of Omaha, Arkansas and Beth McAllister of Bruno, Arkansas.
There was an open visitation from Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Graveside service was Monday, June 25, 2012 at Sand Hill Cemetery in Yardell, Arkansas with Brother Terry Eddings officiating.
