Frank Sienkiewicz, age 71, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at his home in Deer, AR. The son of Joseph and Lucy (DiPalma) Sienkiewicz, was born July 25, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Sienkiewicz.
Frank was born in Brooklyn, NY, and was raised in Robbinsville, NJ. He lived in Oregon and Texas before settling in Deer, AR. He absolutely loved living in Deer, "on the mountain" and would often say "why go on vacation when you live in paradise?"
Frank graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Frank and his brother Edward established The Systems Specialists, LLC in 2007 in Farmersville, TX. The Systems Specialist's installed, repaired, and maintained Material Handling and Sorting Systems in MRF's, (Material Recovery Facilities) throughout the nation. Frank and his crew installed the most advanced recycling system in the world in 2018 on the east coast in Moncks Corner, SC. Frank retired in January 2020, after having installed more than 28 Material Handling Systems in the United States.
Frank loved cleaning, repairing, and collecting firearms. He also loved the challenge of sighting in any rifle that was brought to him by family and friends in preparation for hunting season.
While living in Oregon, he was a member of SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) Cowboy Action Shooting for many years. His handle was "Longhorn" due to his handlebar mustache at the time. Frank was an active participant at the Tulsa Gun Show for almost 15 years. He was a lifetime member of the NRA as well as an NRA Instructor.
Frank is survived by his wife Evelyne (Makkay) Sienkiewicz of the home; his mother Lucy Sienkiewicz; his sons, Joshua Sienkiewicz and wife Lucinda, Daniel Sienkiewicz and wife Maria; his step-daughters, Melissa Dutka Villano and husband Anthony, Jennifer Dutka Stizza and husband Daniel, Stacey Tobias and husband Gene.
He is also survived by his brother, Edward Sienkiewicz and wife Elizabeth; his sisters, Patricia Day and husband William, Linda Makkay and husband John, and Diana Sirak and husband Ed. Frank was blessed with 10 grandchildren; Angelica, Alejandra, Kasey, Parker, Nicholas, Brandon, Alana, Aiden, Eliana, and Clara; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss him.
Visitation will start at 9:00 AM Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Deer Baptist Church, Hwy 16 in Deer. Funeral service will follow visitation, with Pastor Bill Counts officiating. Burial will follow at Wayton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Edward Sienkiewicz, Anthony Villano, Kennon Noble, Joe Lalonde, Bryce Taylor, David Davenport, and Brian Sienkiewicz. Honorary pallbearer is Nicholas Villano.
