Obituary

Frank W. Hatcher, age 95 of St. Joe, AR passed away Monday, March 31, 2008 at Twin Lakes Nursing Center at Flippin, AR.

The son of Frank and Alice Mae (Purkey) Hatcher, was born January 20, 1913 in Tacoma, WA.

He was a carpenter, a farmer, an avid fisherman, and also a member of American Legion in St. Joe.

Mr. Hatcher served our country in the U.S. Navy.

His wife, Drucilla Hatcher preceded him in death, along with his parents; a brother, George Hatcher; and twin sons, Clifford and Clifton.

Survivors are his four daughters and their husbands, Louise Branton, of Houston, TX, Marie and Ray Acosta, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Shirley and Clyde Sherrod, of St. Joe, and Genevieve and Jerry Swafford, of Everton; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.

Visitation was Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Service Friday, April 4, 2008 at United Pentecostal Church near Pindall with Rev. Darvin Rainbolt officiating. Burial followed in Osborne Cemetery. Pallbearers were Timmy Swafford, Jeff Swafford, James Swafford, Thomas Sherrod, Steven Sherrod, Brad Hatcher, and Mike Hatcher.
Honorary pallbearers were the staff and aides at Twin Lakes Nursing Center and Greg Acosta.
