Obituary
Frances M. Owens, age 92 of Diamond City, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Twin Lakes Nursing Center in Flippin, Arkansas.
Fran was born January 9, 1917 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Ira and Fern Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ruby Goforth; her first husband, Forrest Davidson and her second husband of 11 years, Lawrence Owens.
Survivors are her son, Forrest Jack Davidson and his wife,
Jo Ann of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; step-daughter, Sonja Foster and her husband, Dave of Diamond City, Arkansas; her brother, Ira Murphy of Des Moines, Iowa;
six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Fran was a volunteer for RSVP for over 30 years and was a food demonstrator at Hudson's Supermarket for many years.
She was a member of Lead Hill Christian Church and a resident of Diamond City and Lead Hill.
Service was Monday, April 27, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Karl Roten officiating. Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery.
