Floyd Lee Morgan, age 59 of Jasper, AR, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at North Arkansas Medical Center in Harrison, AR.
The son of Clyde and Mary Carolyne (Phillips) Morgan was born July 22, 1962 in the Boone County Hospital in Harrison, AR.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Morgan; the mother of his children, Glenda Sue Collins; his sister, Cheryl Sue Morgan; his grandparents, Norman and Mary Ruth Phillips and Lee and Beulah Morgan; his niece, Misty Ricketts; his aunts, Opal Rhoades, Magdalene Clayborn, Fern Smith, Lois Wallane, and Bobby Breedlove; and his uncles, Wallace Clayborn, Denver Smith, Doy Breedlove, and Lee Breedlove.
Floyd was a lifetime resident of Newton County and was a member of the Parthenon Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, bull riding, and deer camp. He worked many jobs including, Hughes Pallet Mill, Hudson Tire, Vulcan and Delta Construction Company, Newton County Road Department, and he was a heavy equipment operator for many years.
Floyd is survived by his mother, Mary Carolyn (Phillips) Morgan; his children, Cody Morgan, Trent Newman (Madison), Tesslie Reeves (Lee), and Anissa Eddings; his siblings, Marsha Edgmon (Terry), Rebecca Morgan (Craig McCutcheon), David Morgan (Jamie), Russell Morgan (Dora), and Shelly Vaughan (Shawn); grandchildren, Haven Adams, Ayden Reeves, Kaelyn, Landen, and Rainey Snyder, and McKenzie and Grace Eddings; and other family member, Katherine "Tiny" Collins, and Joe and Kathy Ricketts; and a host of many other family members and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00PM Monday, March 14, 2022 at Carver Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00PM Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers will be Nelson Phillips, Joe David Stuart, Nathan Stuart, Larry Davis, Randy Laverty, and Joe Ricketts.
Honorary pallbearers are Nephews, Rodney Phillips, Henry Phillips, Harry Rhoades, Homer Rhoades, Billy Wallace, Randy Lackey, Jody Mitchell, and Randy Smith.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper to help with funeral expenses.
