Florence Ann Lansden, 85, of Wayton, Arkansas passed away on September 27th, 2025, at Countryside Health and Rehab of Newton County in Jasper, Arkansas.

Florence was born to Naomi Henderson and Arthur Lansden on September 20th, 1940 in Wayton, Arkansas. Florence grew up primarily in Arkansas and California. Florence spent 40 years of her life as a registered nurse and it was her passion.

Florence is survived by her five children; Debbie Dunbar (Diane), Edward Acton, Desiree Looper (JR), Todd Acton (Karla) and Dawn Acton. Grandchildren; Desiree Dunbar, Lyndsey Acton (Grant), Dylan Acton, Morgan Looper, and William Davenport. Great Grandchildren; Luxy Williams, Abby Williams, Cyrus Williams, and Archie Mullins. Niece; Valerie Duncan (Mike) and nephew Dickie Lansden Jr.

Florence is preceded in death by her partner of 39 years, Debbie Colvin, her mother, Naomi Vaughn, her father, Arthur Lansden, her step-father, Beecher Vaughn, and her brother, Dick Lansden.

During her best years, Florence enjoyed working outside in her many gardens, painting, reading, and having coffee and smoking on her porch. At the end of her life, she had tremendous difficulty remembering much of what made her, her. Despite this, three things remained at her core; the stronger the coffee the better, animals are far superior to people, and Debbie.
