Obituary
Flora Elizabeth Sullivan, age 96 of Valley Springs, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of William Alexander and Nettie (Clarida) Eddings was born August 11, 1914 at Cave Creek, Arkansas.
Flora was a member of Bellefonte Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She was an inspector for Levi Strauss for many years and she enjoyed gardening, quilting, oil painting, and cooking.
She was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother.
Her parents preceded her in death along with her husband, John L. Sullivan; a granddaughter, Sherry Joe Young; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors are her children, Jim Sullivan and wife, Nita of Harrison, Betty Young and husband, Howard of Valley Springs and Bonnie Horn and husband, Dennard of Valley Springs; sisters-in-law, Gladine Eddings and Varnell Sullivan both of Harrison; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Friday, February 25, 2011 at Coffman Funeral Home. Service 2 P.M. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Bellefonte Church of Christ with Ray Crawford and Jim Gaskill officiating.
Burial will follow in Western Grove Cemetery with pallbearers being Flora's great-grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons and Dr. Tom Leslie, Dr. John Leslie, the staff of Hillcrest Home, and the staff of Hospice of the Hills.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Hospice House, 501 E. Sherman, Harrison, Arkansas 72601.
