Faye Yarbrough, age 74 of Valley Springs, Arkansas passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017.  She was born on March 25, 1943 in Tomahawk, Arkansas, the daughter of Jim and Flonie (Baker) Yarbrough.  The family moved to Valley Springs, Arkansas in 1954.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ben Yarbrough and James Yarbrough.

Faye was a charter member of First Baptist Church in Valley Springs and in her lifetime touched many lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Youth Ministries.  She was devoted to God, her family and her church family as was evidenced by the selfless life she lived - always putting others needs before her own.  Faye also served others by being on the Board of Tetelestai House and served as Treasurer of the Valley Springs Foundation.

She was employed in the financial industry her entire career where she made many friends and lifelong customers who looked to her for assistance.

Faye is survived by two sisters, Jimmie Yarbrough and Stella (Yarbrough) Wells; one brother, Bob Yarbrough and his wife Julia, all of Valley Springs as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will mourn her passing.

Services will be held Wednesday, June 14 at 11:00 am at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Carl Garvin and Bro. Scott Kohnle officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 am.  An open visitation will also take place Tuesday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison.  Pallbearers will include her nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Hills, 501 E. Sherman, Harrison, AR 72601.
