Eunice Loretta Sams Laughter Carney passed away at Nail, Arkansas on March 26, 2018 at her home.

The daughter of Dorothy Elizabeth (Reynolds) Sams and Archie Joseph Sams  was born June 17, 1943 in Wynne, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mark Anderson Laughter, three brothers, Idus, Joe and infant Archie Joseph Sams Jr.; two sisters Ovie Sams Huber, and infant Myrtle Sams.

Eunice was of Baptist Faith and a member of the Pine Grove Church on Smith Mountain in Jasper.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors.

She is survived by her husband James Irvin Carney of the home, in-laws Laura and Doyle Carney; her brother Orvid Sams of Ava, MO., her sisters, Modena Wise of Tonganoxie, KS., and Billy Chapman of Lowell, AR.

Eunice is also survived by six daughters, Carolyn Laughter Covey and husband Brett, Edith Laughter Edgmon and husband Bruce, Andria Laughter Taylor and husband Michael, Elana Laughter Martin and husband Rocky, Rachel Laughter Stone and husband Robert, and Laura Laughter Phillips and husband Kevin; and her extended family Stephanie and Billy Woods of Hagarville, AR., Michael Carney of North Carolina, Jamie and Kim Carney of Mayflower, AR., Amanda and J.L. Holman of Clarksville, AR., and Wonona Brown of Fallsville, AR,; forty one grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, AR.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Bobby Young and James Compton officiating.  Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Nail, AR.

Pallbearers will be Adam Murray, Caleb Taylor, Levi Samuels, Michael Varner, Nathan Sisemore, Dakota Ricketts, Wesley Taylor and Sawyer Netherton.  Honorary pallbearers are Steve Isley, Jamie Carney, and Terry Carney.
