Eunice Ruth Rogers, 81 of Harrison, Arkansas went to meet her savior, Jesus Christ on December 31, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri with her grandson, Gary Michelson and sister-in-law, Sharon Emerson by her side.

She was born October 27, 1936 in Port Jefferson Long Island, New York to Ralph and Gertrude Hulse.  She graduated from Port Jefferson High School.  Eunice lived in many different places during her interesting lifetime, including Paraguay, where she was a missionary with her husband, Hearld James.

Eunice was a woman of many talents.  She worked on the Port Jefferson ferry boat while in her teens, and later as an airline payroll clerk.  She owned a gift shop and a catering business at different times with her sister, Lila.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.  She was always willing to listen when family and friends needed someone to talk with.  She shared her love of Christ with everyone, and was an active member of her church when her health permitted.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hearld; her sisters, Joy Emerson and Lila Grassberger; her brother, Ralph Hulse; and three daughters, Robin Rogers, Susan Rogers and Sheryl Hearn.

Eunice is survived by her daughter, Maria Rogers of the home; her sons, Kevin Little and Keith Little of CA; her sons-in-law, Russell Hearn of HI and Karim Skaam of TN; her step-children, Craig Rogers of CA, Linda DeLeon of CO and Shari Poe of Bermuda; a sister-in-law, Brenda Hulse of MO; her grandchildren, Gary Michelson and wife Kim of MN and Lila Lee Hearn of CO; her great grandchildren, Emberlynn and Rylan Michelson of MN; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her.

A memorial will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Sunrise Fellowship with Pastor Mel Harness officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideon Bible Fund, to The Gideon's International, PO Box 997, Harrison, Arkansas, 72602.
