Etta "Sue" Susan Swearingen, of Jasper, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.  She was 70 years old.

The daughter of William James and Joyce (Avant) Swearingen was born on October 13, 1952 in Lindrith, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Swearingen; her parents; one brother, Albert; and one sister, Linda.

Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Willis, of Iowa; two sons, John Kratzberg and wife, Shannon, of Florida, and Darrel Kratzberg, of Oregon; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and 10 brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
