Ethel (Edwards) Hedrick, age 85 of Pleasant Hill, MO, formerly of Omaha, AR passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, KS.

Ethel was born January 29, 1922 in Burlington, AR, the daughter of George J. and Lydia (Hicks) Edwards.

She was a member of Burlington Baptist Church and enjoyed camping, cooking,and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Her parents preceded in death along with her husband, Herbert Hedrick; three brothers and one sister, Edward Edwards, Herbert Edwards, Riley Edwards, and Nola Mae Passmore; her daughters, Connie Underdown and Carole Smith; and step-daughters, Madrene Morris and Helen Hedrick.

Survivors are her sons, Charles Wayne Hedrick and wife, Marcia of Spring Hill, KS and George Hedrick and wife, Joann of Pleasant Hill, MO; daughter, Susan Parton and husband, Larry also of Pleasant Hill, MO; step-daughters, Wilma Martin and husband, Ozier and Elizabeth Sanders and husband, Al: ten grandchildren, Brookie Lee Loyd, Wes Hedrick, Randy Parton, Dione Vanatta, Tony Carpenter, Charlie Parton, Tiffany Bellerive, Cassaundra McKown, Steve Smith, and David Underdown; and nineteen great grandchildren, Jessica, Sophia, Joshua, Jacob, Bailey, Tyler, Zane, Eli, Traizen, Brooklyn, Kayli, Stacey, Justin, Brittney, Tylsr, Justin, Cody, Casey, and Holly.

Visitation was Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Service was held Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at New Hope Baptist Church at Omaha, AR. Burial followed in Burlington Cemetery, Burlington, AR.
