Obituary
Ernest C. Herron, age 93, of Pindall, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Everett and Grace (McDougal) Herron was born July 31, 1916 in Pindall, Arkansas.
Mr. Herron is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Will and Meburne Herron; his sisters, Lennie Keele and Marie Drewry; and three nephews.
Ernest was a member of the Masonic Lodge for about sixty three years. He lived most of his life in Pindall except for a few years he lived in Little Rock where he worked for Timex Corporation. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing gospel and country music.
Ernest C. Herron is survived by his wife, Rosa Herron of the home; his brothers Jack Herron of Wichita, Kansas, Troy Herron of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Joe Herron of Denton, Texas; his sisters, Patsy Housley of Harrison and Florence Strickland of Harrison; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service was Friday, November 20, 2009 at Bellefonte Cemetery with Leonard Mast officiating.
Visitation was held an hour before the service.
