Obituary
Ermon Franklin Martin, age 77 of Harrison, AR passed away Thursday, November 22, 2007 at his home.
The son of the late Cletus Franklin and Ada Marie (Spears) Martin, was born February 27, 1930 in Bixby, OK.
He was a member of Union Road Assembly of God Church and was retired from Flexsteel. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodcrafting.
Survivors are his wife of 58 years, Maxine (Long) Martin, of the home, (they were married November 9, 1949); son Bob Martin and his wife, Glenna of Harrison; daughters, Shirley (Martin) and her husband, Bill Martin, of Yellville, AR and Sharon (Martin) and her husband, Bobby White, of Harrison; sister, Hazel Eddings, of Harrison; grandchildren, Heather Martin, Kelsey Martin, and Rachel Weis; and great grandchildren, Kendra Wisham and August Wisham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Ermon's memorial service was held Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Union Road Assembly of God Church with his nephew, Terry Eddings officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Heather Martin, Kelsey Martin, Rachel Weis, Ray Yarbrough, Gary Bland, and Fred Copeland.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the family at their home.
