Eric Glenn Nichols, age 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Twin Lakes Therapy and Living Center in Flippin, AR.

The son of Woodroe W. and Ruby C. (O'Neal) Nichols was born on August 21, 1951 in Richmond, California.

Eric was a Marine Corps combat veteran of the Vietnam War. After the war, Eric earned his GED and got accepted to San Francisco State University where he earned his master's degree in Psychology. Eric went on to work for a non-profit organization where he helped homeless veterans find housing and counseling. He loved his job and retired after more than 20 years.

He also enjoyed going to the gym to workout. At the age of 40, Eric won 3rd place in a bodybuilding competition. He also enjoyed riding his bicycle and was known, on occasion, to ride 100 miles or more a day. Eric also liked to go fishing whenever he could.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one son, Damon Nichols (Amber Martinez); grandchildren, Trinity, Zander, Isabella, and Isiah; one brother and his wife, Rodger and Heidi Nichols; one sister and her husband, Myra and Brian Walker; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was loved and will be missed by all.

An open visitation will be throughout the business day on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.

Graveside service is Monday, November 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Judea Cemetery. Roy Tennison will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
