Emme Katherine Parks, age 43, finally rests in peace after a courageous eight year fight against cancer.

She enjoyed being with her family, the beach, camping, fishing, her famous back scratches, spa treatments, traveling, tattoos, sweets, good Mexican food, crab rangoon, tubing, soaking at Lava Hot Springs, watercolor painting, shopping for Michael Parkes art in Eureka Springs, boating, swimming, jewelry, music, gambling, and daytime TV.

Emme was an amazingly brave and strong woman who was passionate in her Ariesness and excellent at expressing herself. She was fun-loving and appreciated the "good life".

Emme effortlessly and unknowingly taught her loved ones how to be brave and strong. We love her and will try to fill the space she left with all of our cherished memories.

Emme was born April 2, 1966 in Torrence, California.

Her father Robert Parks preceded her in death.

Survivors are her mother and step-father, Mary and Steve Lowder of Jasper; father and step-mother, Leonard Pino and Nancy Lane of Belle Vista; son, Alex Parks of Dupont, California; daughters, Jaime and her husband, Jamie Hubbard of Pocatello, Idaho and Cassidy Parks of Jasper; brother, Ted Leblow of Provo, Utah; sister, Kate Bear and her husband, Dave Bear of Ponca; grandchildren, Alexis and Sophie Hubbard; nieces and nephews, Abel, Oona and Suri Bear, and Jessica, James, Jared, and Jordan Leblow; and grandparents, Jim and Emma Macdonald.

She is also survived by two pet dogs, Ernie and Tasha.

Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

There will be a private memorial service held at a later date.
