Emma "Sue" Johnson, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home, November 15, 2021 at the age of 76.  Sue was born February 27, 1945 in Harrison, Arkansas, the daughter of Thurman Martin and Vianzia Smith Frye.

Sue attended Harrison schools until she moved to Kansas City, MO when she turned 18.  Sue was the hardest worker and had the biggest and most generous heart to those that knew her.  Sue worked many jobs to support herself and her family until 1990, when a car accident caused an early retirement.  Sue also later in life worked part time as a caregiver for elderly.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman Martin and Vianzia Smith Frye, grandparents, Luther and Emma Martin, sister, Wilma Shretino, brother, Charlie Martin, daughter in-law, Margaret Arnold, brother in-law, Velmer Reddell and grandson, John "Popper" Johnson.

Sue is survived by ex-husband/friend Leamon Johnson; son, Lloyd Flippo, son, David Arnold, son, Jerry Arnold (Kristi), son, John Johnson (Tiffanie); grandsons, Rocky, Gaige, Cody; 2 granddaughters, DeAnna, Tori; 1 great granddaughter, Lilyanne; 6 sisters, Georgia Reddell, Johnnie Peterman (Bill), Patricia Fredericks, Linda Hammock, Mary Swafford, Sandy Seay, and 1 brother Butch Martin (Barbara) and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 19 from 11 AM – 1 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.  Graveside service will follow at 2 PM at Smith Cemetery in Vendor.

Pallbearers are Leamon Johnson, Lloyd Flippo, David Arnold, Jerry Arnold, John Johnson, and Clark Reddell.
