Elouise C. Waddell, age 71 of Wayton, AR departed this life Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR. She was born June 29, 1935 in Lufkin, TX the daughter of Herman Lee and Gladys Cora (Wideman) Cochrell.
Elouise graduated from Jeff Davis High School in Houston, TX in 1953. She lived in Texas up until 9 years ago. She and her husband Wes, then moved to Wayton, AR.
She enjoyed gardening, painting, mushrooming, and sewing. She was a dear friend and good neighbor to all.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two children, Richard Alan Waddell of Houston, in 1977 and Dawn Elaine Waddell Hill of California in 1995.
Survivors are her husband, Wes Waddell of the home; daughter, Barbara Waddell Williams and her husband, Joe of Austin, TX; son, Christopher Paul Waddell and his wife, Suzanne of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Jason Travis Hill of California, and Dylan Walker Waddell and Cayleigh Anne Waddell both of Denver, CO; brothers, Herman Gerald Cochrell and his wife, Lydia Rachel Cochrell of Ozark, AR and Larry Glen Cochrell of Conroe, TX; sister-in-law, Wanda Waddell Weeden of Houston, TX; childhood and lifelong friend, Toni Camp Wishek of San Clemente, CA; special friends, Arlo and Alta Fern Breedlove and Pope Goodson of Newton County, AR; as well as many others.
She was a terrific wife, mother, and friend to many. She will be sorely missed by all.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. No services are planned at this time so that the celebration of her life may be held in the Spring of 2007. At that time her family is going to spread her ashes in a memorial rose garden at her home. In lieu of plants or flowers at this time, you may bring a rose bush to be planted in her honor, for the memorial rose garden.
